Professor HN Mishra, having over 37 years of professional experience in teaching, research and administration, has many laurels and awards to his credit. He has published 625 research papers including 267 in peer reviewed international journals & 358 in conference proceedings. He has written 4 books, 4 e-books, 35 book chapters, 7 lecture compendium & laboratory manuals, 4 technology manuals, and several popular articles in newspapers and magazines and has 14 Indian patents to his credit. Besides, he is on the editorial boards of several reputed journals. He has supervised more than 286 student research projects including 12 PDF and 50 Ph D research scholars including 2 PMRF & 7 GYTI awardees. Professor Mishra has handled several international and national sponsored research & industrial consultancy projects. He has created stat-of-the art research laboratory and pilot plants for food processing and preservation. Dr Mishra has received several awards & honours such as AIFPA Presidents’ Award, GYTI Award, NRDC Award, Best Teacher Award, Dr JS Pruthi Award, etc for his outstanding contribution in the field of food processing in the country. Professor Mishra has worked in different capacities on various academic and administrative committees of IIT Kharagpur and many other institutions in the country. He has visited several countries abroad including Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Turkey, UAE, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Ireland, UK, Belgium, USA and Canada. Sanjay Sethi

Sanjay Sethi is a world renowned impact investment leader and sustainable food expert. Over 3 decades long illustrious career, Mr Sethi set up winning integrated supply chains in Africa, Middle East, Europe, Eastern Europe, South Asia and in India. A leader of cross functional teams, he rolled out large supply chain, sustainable food production, irrigation, agri infrastructure projects.
Sanjay Sethi is currently the Executive Director of Plant Based Foods Industry Association (PBFIA), a CEO-led body representing and building a strong foundation for India’s plant based food companies which produce high-quality plant-based alternatives to dairy and meat products. Previously he was on the Board of Sustainable Rice Platform, an initiative of UN Environment and International Rice Research Institute. He was also a Steering Committee Member of Global Agribusiness Alliance of World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Geneva.
Mr Sethi undertook many infrastructure projects like setting up India’s first Mega Food Park and India’s first Free Trade Warehousing Zone. In his previous role as Director Sustainability at $3 Billion Phoenix Group Dubai, he accelerated the Agri commodities business in the direction to more sustainable practices by setting up new sustainable multi-country integrated projects. Mr. Sethi was CEO Food and Beverages for an African MNC (Export Trading Group – ETG) and headed Jain Irrigation’s Africa Operations previously. His career included stints at National Dairy Development Board and Unilever.
Awards:- Mr Sanjay Sethi was awarded “The Africa Food Prize 2013”, “The Sustainable Initiatives Award 2017”, “Chief Sustainability Officer of the Year Award” in 2018 and 2019 and “Lifetime Achievement Award 2018 for Food Security”. Felicitated on behalf of the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah (UAE) and Government of Nigeria for contributions to food security.

He has an incredible culinary art and extensive track record throughout his career, which attributes his ability to challenge himself and his team to learn, achieve and deliver only the very best world class cuisine., a quintessential Chef.!

He combines high level culinary skills with a hands-on approach to ensure hautecuisine kitchen operation is planned, prepared, and ran efficiently. He has proven success in driving high performance kitchen teams by aiming towards the highest of quality, driven by creativity as well as constantly following world trends and food
presentations/shows also by keeping strong hold on HSQ global standards. His passion not only creative menu engineering or fusion delights, but creating very passionate culinary team around him which would create an food aura, a key element in Chef’s quality in modern European, classical & contemporary Indian, classical French, modern English and molecular gastronomy.
